Dental Plan Options
The NCTI Trust Funds also offer dental coverage. You may choose any dentist when you need care.
Active Participants
After the annual deductible, the plan pays 80% of the cost of covered Class A services and 75% of the cost of covered Class B services. Class A services are basic services that include exams, teeth cleaning, x-rays, extractions, oral surgery, fillings and root canals. Class B services include crowns, first installation of fixed bridgework, partial or full dentures, and repairing of crowns, bridgework and dentures. The calendar year maximum benefits paid are $1,500 per person. For orthodontia services (braces) the plan pays a lifetime maximum of $2,000 per person.

Retired Participants
After the annual deductible, the plan pays 80% of the cost of covered Class A services and 50% of the cost of covered Class B services. Class A services include routine dental check-ups only. Class B services include all other covered dental expenses. The calendar year maximum benefits paid are $1,500 per person.
